EMDR Therapy…

I offer EMDR therapy in person for adults who want to make meaningful changes in their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lives. I specialize in helping people who are struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Complex PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, and Grief.

When I started out as a traditional talk therapist in 2001, I noticed that while clients enjoyed talking with me, and felt relief in the session, they were not seeing the changes they wanted to see in their thoughts and emotions over time. This inspired me to become an EMDR therapist in 2009. Since then, I have also pursued extra training in Ego State therapy and Parts Work. Now I see that this combination of EMDR and Parts Work supports people to be truly free in ways that are profound and life changing, reaching beyond the confines of our one hour together each week.

EMDR therapy with me can be a brief set of appointments to address a single issue, or a long term collaboration, depending on the needs and growth of each person.
