About Amy

I am a licensed, independent, clinical social worker with 22 years of experience helping people to change their lives. In the past, I have worked at a community mental health center, a drop-in center for people who are homeless, and a college counseling center.

I am also a Certified EMDR therapist. I specialize in treating complex PTSD and dissociation. In addition to EMDR, I also draw from Ego State Therapy and Somatic Interventions. I believe that people already have the power to grow, recover, and thrive. My job is to create the conditions so they can put that power into action.

More recently, I have pursued extra training to become an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I offer support, guidance, and clarity to EMDR therapists who are looking to build their confidence and skills.

The pronouns I use are she/her.

Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force.
When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.
