About EMDR

EMDR, also known as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy  is a comprehensive, mind-body approach to psychotherapy.

EMDR has been studied in clinical trials and found to be highly effective at helping people to resolve traumatic memories.  While it cannot change the past or take memories away, it can help you take the sting out of those memories. It can empower you to dislodge old, stuck, limiting beliefs about yourself, and move to a more adaptive frame of mind.

With EMDR I've helped people eliminate nightmares, flashbacks, intrusive images, and panic attacks. I have also helped people to reduce performance anxiety, improve body image, excavate internalized oppression, (which sometimes shows up as self-hatred) and build confidence.
